Hi everyone!
Urgent question! Am submitting my applications to several CAD schools tomorrow (deadline is Feb 1), and have a slight problem...
Let me explain:
- In November 2011, I wrote the GMAT and scored a 670, with AWA of 6.0
- I wasn't happy with the score, so decided to rewrite in January of 2012
- I rewrote in late January and score a 730 (yay!), but have not received my AWA score yet.
I want to include to new score in my application (obviously), but don't have the AWA. What should I do? I have tried calling GMAC, but they say its not ready -- so no luck there!
I was thinking of putting in the new score, with low-ball estimate of my AWA (say 5.0). The way I see it, I should probably get that or higher, and I imagine that the Adcom wouldn't be upset if my score increased.
Or should I just play it safe and send the old score? (but refer to the new score in my supplemental essay?)
Help! Any advice would be greatly greatly appreciated! Time is of the essence!
Cheers,
-Matty
