Hi,
Could someone please help with how do I go about answering this Data Sufficiency problem?
The answer's A, but I just don't know how to get there. Here's the question:

Q. Symbol * denote to be one of the operations add, subtract, multiply, or divide. Is (6*2)*4=6*(2*4)?
(1) 3*2>3
(2) 3*1=3
