I am from a Indian system of education and here the final marks are given as a percentage. I would like to know if anyone can tell a way how the business schools convert percentages into GPA for an Indian system. Here, even a 60% marks are quite high as a few colleges are quite stringent in their marking system.

Apparantly GMAT considers 60%+ as 4gpa and the same is mentioned on its website. Most colleges recommend not worrying about GPA as they have their own methods of conversion.
The avg. GPA published on their website is the number derived from data available in the range of 0-4 only. Indian GPAs are not considered in that.
