Hello experts
I took a verbal mock test yesterday. I'm attaching the ESR report to this post and I would greatly appreciate if you can have a cursory glance at it and suggest to me areas where I can improve (and if possible, what steps can I take to improve on those topics)
I am focusing very heavily on the GMAT verbal section because an increment in the verbal section will push my score further towards my target - 750.
I feel like my weakest area is sentence correction and critical reasoning. I know the grammar rules for subject-verb, pronoun-number/antecedent, modifiers. But when a question appears, I cannot figure out how do I approach a question. I know that sounds weird, it feels weirder typing this! I figure my main areas of weakness in the GMAT sentence correction are Idioms and Diction/redundant writing. Is there a systematic way of approaching the sentence correction questions?
Being a non native speaker, English is certainly not my strongest area, especially sentence correction. Almost 80% of my sentence correction questions were incorrect! This severely hampered my attempt to get more than V42. Currently I am in V31. How far am I from getting a V42?
I would highly appreciate any help that you can offer. Being from a financially weak background, I cannot afford to take multiple attempts at the GMAT. I am only using the materials present in this club for my preparation. My cousin had taken the GMAT test a year back and he was kind enough to gift me his GMAT OG books (2022) and Manhattan Sentence Correction.
By the way, the mock test that I took was from GMAT club. Thank you GMAT club for making your tests accessible for 1 day! I'm going to buy its subscription exactly 1 month away from the test date (which I plan to take on <tentatively> the 2nd week of July)

Once you have learned the rules and concepts for Sentence Correction, you next move is NOT to take practice tests. Rather, you should practice UNTIMED, analyzing individual questions choice by choice until you understand how to get SC questions correct.

You can wait few more months for GMAT Focus edition to arrive and Sentence Correction to disappear!
If that's not feasible, you might want to consider our sentence correction book Sentence Correction Nirvana, which is perhaps the only book that offers a score improvement guarantee, and is especially designed for non-native speakers.
After reading the book twice (yes! it's an academic book, and so must be read twice in all seriousness, to reinforce the concepts), you will start looking forward to solving SC questions!
The book is available on Flipkart and Amazon.in. You might want to refer to these sites, to also read testimonials of how readers have benefited.
