Hey GC team,
It's very important for one to do a thorough research before signing up for any GMAT course. Checking honest reviews is one of the best ways to understand how credible the course is and how much would one benefit.
Based on my experience one needs to go through the following (in that order) to do well on the GMAT
1) Learn concepts
2) Learn to apply the concepts
3) Increase stamina for consistency in performance
4) Time efficiency
#1 and #2 are two very important aspects, aspects that a course could greatly help you in.
EducationAisle does a phenomenal job in this aspect of your prep. Unlike most of the online courses EA, through its online classes, has done a great job in providing a "private tutoring" experience.
It's very important to understand concepts and clear all the conceptual doubts while learning a Section or subsection. Ashish from EA is one of the most honest and humble tutors I've come across. He's a gem of a person and is super approachable. Be it through email or Skype, Ashish is always available to clear your doubts and he does a great job in making the student understand what's going on in the question.
Pros:1)
Personal attention in your study prep. Even though it's an online class it's very close to private tutoring
2)
Always available to clear your doubts. You can get to Ashish at any time of the day and within 24 hrs he will clear your doubt. Unlike most courses, his solution/reply is customised based on the student and his/her level of understanding.
3) Well structured with
extensive practice material that's great in quality
4)
Economical (one of the most affordable and reliable course). It's worth every penny.
Cons: 1) Does not have any software that can track your progress. You got to track your own progress guys, EA does nor provide you with a fancy website that tracks your progress and success rate.
Who is it for?1) Newbies who have no clue about how to go about with their prep
2) Those who have a financial constraint
3) Who need personal attention
4) Who have a million doubts and need a person with patience to understand them
Who is it not for?1) Those who need someone or something else to track his/her progress and provide real time statistics
I still have to take the exam. And when I do, I shall give an in-depth (if this wasn't enough :p) review of EducationAisle
