Hi Jordi,
Many GMATers become too fixated on the 'implied level' of the questions that they're working on - instead of what really matters: defining WHY they're getting questions wrong and becoming more efficient at approaching the overall Exam. It's also worth noting that just because a 3rd party describes a question as "700 level" does not necessarily make it so. In addition, with a Score Goal of 550+, you do NOT need to correctly answer ANY questions that you think are too hard or too weird, so focusing on 'tougher' practice questions is not a good use of your time. To properly assess how well your studies are preparing you for the Official GMAT, you have to take realistic, FULL-LENGTH CATs/mocks in a fashion that matches-up with how you will take the Official GMAT (re: take the FULL CAT - with the Essay and IR sections, in the same section-order, at the same time of day as when you'll take the Official GMAT, if you will be at a Test Facility, then wear a face mask, etc.).
Before I can offer you any additional advice for your studies, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) When you say that your 'second test' is next Friday, are you referring to a Practice Test or the actual Official GMAT?
2) How long have you studied? How many hours do you typically study each week?
3) What study materials have you used so far?
4) On what dates (or approximate dates) did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
5) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to?
GMAT assassins aren't born, they're made,
