Hi,

Just submitted my Stern and Kellogg applications (for R2). I am an international applicant and planning to take a week vacation.How many days notice do I get when I am invited for an interview? Just so that I will have time to prepare for it & postpone my trip if needed.

I don't think you're "invited" to interview at Kellogg. Everyone who applies can interview, and you set one up on your own I think.

Typically, around 20-30% applicants don't get an invite at Kellogg(not having enough alumni to conduct them especially in Dec - Mar when the bulk of applications come in). I thought I can initiate an interview only if I am in the United States.Does it apply even if I am outside U.S?

You can initiate an on-campus interview at Kellogg at any point up to the interview deadline. If you request to be interviewed off-campus Kellogg must send out the interview invite. These off-campus invites can come before you have completed the application. However, if you are requesting an interview in an area where there a limited alums to conduct them then Kellogg will waive the interview requirement so that they can begin reviewing your app (Kellogg considers an app complete for review AFTER the interview). If they would like to interview you after your app has been reviewed they will schedule an alumni interview in your area or conduct a skype interview. After this is completed your app will be reviewed again with the interviewers notes. Hope this helps.
