Total number of integers from 500 to 700 = 201
Since the numbers are consecutive, the average will be the median, which is 600

Total number of integers from 60 to 90 = 31
Since the numbers are consecutive, the average will be the median, which is 75

Difference = 600-75 = 525.

Bunuel sir, It would be clearer if could include the word Inclusive for the range of integers.

avg of 500 & 700 terms '200 terms so 100th term' = 600
and of 60-90 ' 30 terms so 15th term'= 75 ;
difference = 600-75
525
IMO C

Solution

To find:
• How much greater is the average of the integers from 500 to 700 than the average of the integers from 60 to 90

Approach and Working:
• Average of integers from 500 to 700 = the value of the middlemost term = 600
• The average of integers from 60 to 90 = the value of the middlemost term = 75
• Therefore, the difference = 600- 7 5 = 525

Hence, the correct answer is Option C
