Hi All,
I have given GMATPrep for almost 3 times now. The more I give it, the stranger it gets.
Note: I got no 3 wrongs in parallel, and in first 10 questions I got Max 3 wrong in all tests
GMATPrep1 - 690 (Q49,V35)
11 wrong in quant, and 14 wrong in verbal
GMATPrep2 - 640 (Q48,V30)
11 wrong in quant, and 15 wrong in verbal
Actual GMAT - 590(Q47, V26) - That was really sad
GMATPrep2 Retake - 660 (Q49,V31) (No repeats in quant, a few repeats in Verbal)
12 wrong in quant, and 11 wrong in verbal
What puzzles me most is that, my pattern was simlar in almost all tests, and in GMATPrep 1 , after getting 14 wrong in verbal I got 35 and in GMATPrep 2, after getting just 11 wrong, I was expecting atleast a 36 if not more.
Any specific observations?

Hussain may partially repond to your questions.
As per your question, verbal raw score do not correlate strongly with the number of questions you have got correct, but verbal score depends a lot on the level of difficulty of the questions you have got wrong and right.
I had the same variation in verbal, 2 weeks before the test I have got V23 - ( I waz frustrated) , 3 day before the test V35 and on the test day V31.
