Hi friends,
Today, I tried to do a Listening mock ( TPO) to estimate my score. I never studied TOEFL before. I just read a guide from Full note about listening types then went to do a mock. I got 29 correct answers out of 36 ( since 2 questions having 2 answers choice), so I got around L26. I would like to get 28 L. What should I do next? Please advice me.
I found the first lecture of 2 sets was not easy for me to listen, i could not understand it totally. I am very good at listening business conversions/ lectures, but not good at others such as music, bio, physics which i know often happen on the listening section.
Which sources should i practice/listen to improve my score? Do full note classes videos help? or i should keep practicing TPO? or other sources?
Thank you in advance.

I fully understand what your talking about. Here is my 2 cents:

1- Try to engage with speaker. Think of her/him as if you attend a lecture and give new info. Engagement is the real word. If you lose interest, you won't think in lecture. It is clear that love business so you can do well. So try hard same enthusiasm with others.

2- Use the youtube to listen more to lectures or presentations or watch Discovery channel. Do Not try to understand every word.

Hi! I am a non-native English speaker, but I got a perfect score on LC without much preparation. It seems like you don't have any issue understanding the language itself when listening. As you said, if you have trouble understading specific topics, I would recommend reading or watching something challenging regarding those fields. For example, if you try to google recent articles about music, and read about 50 articles and then watch related video clips, you might feel much more comfortable when you face such questions in LC section.
