I took the GMAT, and my score was 550 (V28, Q36). I need to improve my score to 650 by the end of Jan 2021 (i.e., I only have 6 weeks).
Answers to FAQ:
1) What type of study routine have you been following? How many hours did you typically study each week?
I have completed the whole Manhattan series, critical reasoning bible, OG 2021, OG verbal and quant review books. I have been studying GMAT for 2 years for an hour or 2 each day.
2) Have you used any other study materials besides the books that you mentioned?
I have completed e-gmat verbal, SC, RC,CR videos. Manhattan foundations for quant and verbal, Aristrole SC, CR as well. I have completed all the resources mentioned; I don't know what else I can do.
Additional info: I have a weak math background, have not touch math since 10 years ago. I panic during the first quant question; I just cannot get to get it right. For quant, all the questions I get are heavy arithmetic calculations and some extremely large questions.
Two years ago, my score was 420. It took 2 years to improve to 550. Is it even possible for me to reach 650 in 6 weeks?

In a prior post, you noted that you had taken the GMAT 2 years ago and scored 530 (Q39, V23). Recently, you scored 550 (Q36, V28). GMAC has publicly stated that the Official Score that you earn on Test Day is within +/- 30 points of actual ability. Your 2 Official Scores show that you essentially performed the same each time (about 540 +/- a few points) even though you took your Exams over 2 years apart. You handle certain aspects of the GMAT consistently well, but you also make certain consistent mistakes. By extension, you likely developed some 'bad habits' during your prior studies that are keeping you from scoring higher (and will take time to fix - and replace with new 'good habits'). Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level.
Statistically-speaking, raising a 540 to the point that you can consistently score 650+ will likely require that you commit to at least another 2 months of consistent, guided study - and you'll have to make improvements to how you handle BOTH the Quant and Verbal sections. Thankfully, the GMAT is a consistent, predictable Exam, so you CAN train to score at a higher level. While I understand that you want to be done with the GMAT in 6 weeks, if you ultimately "need" a 650+ to apply to the Schools that interest you, then THAT Score Goal has to come first - and you might need to consider pushing back your Test Date.
Before I can offer you the specific advice that you’re looking for, it would help if you could provide a bit more information on how you've been studying and your goals:
1) For your 2nd Official attempt, did you take the At-home GMAT or did you take the GMAT at a Test Facility? Which option are you going to use for your 3rd attempt?
2) Over the last 3 months, on what dates did you take EACH of your CATs/mocks and how did you score on EACH (including the Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores for EACH)?
3) When are you planning to apply to Business School and what Schools are you planning to apply to? If you are planning to apply soon, then what specific application deadlines are you facing?
