Hi I am non-native english speaker and aiming to break 700 in 3 weeks.I took GMAT twice and scored 450(Q35/V17) 500(Q44/V16) accordingly. My main struggle always was a Verbal and I wonder what else I have to do in order to attain 700 point?

These are material which I currently use.

OG13/Verbal 2/Quantitative
MGMAT books
MGMAT 6 full practice tests(took 3 of them and scored 580/580/600 but I bought these test before my first try on gmat and some of them were familiar to me)
E-GMAT Sentence correction online course

Hi Elchin1994,

Going by your current standing, it is very difficult to cross 700. You scores suggest a problem in all the areas and not only SC.
I would recommend you to postpone your test and prepare for at least 2 - 3 months.

The materials that you have listed are all good, but I think that you would need to go back again to the course and learn the concepts and fundamentals.
There is a scope of improvement in Quants section too.

Also, can you please answer the following questions:

1. Did you take any CAT including the AWA and IR before your GMAT?
2. Did you solve the OG and Verbal Review?
3. When do you plan to apply to B-Schools?

I don't think that's going to help his score. The verbal is very logical - you need to learn the rules and keys for each type of question, and the MGMAT books do a decent job of laying that out. It will come down to repetition and understanding the types of patterns you will encounter in the verbal questions. Your vocabulary will not matter, and watching TV English will only help your colloquial speaking, which is often detrimental to your verbal score.

2 days ago I gave GMAT third time and again scored 500.I am really shocked and disappointed now. 1 month ago I completed MGMAT 6 CATs scored(550-610) range and after that I prepared 1 week and scored 560 in GMATprep 1 and after 10 days 650 in GMAtprep 2 practice exam.I really do not know what to do.

Hi Elchin1994,

Since your last post in this thread was back in December, and you didn't answer any of the questions that were asked, it would help if you provide a bit more information about how you've been studying for the last 3+ months:

1) Did you study consistently since December?
2) What materials did you use?
3) What were your Quant and Verbal Scaled Scores on THIS GMAT?

This recent overall score is 'in line' with your prior scores, so you're likely 'seeing' (and responding to) the GMAT in the same ways as before. To raise your score to a much higher level, you'll likely need to invest in some new materials and learn/practice some new Tactics.
