Hello guys, I have been average about 3 mins per SC question with around 90% accuracy.
I read from many different sources saying try not to spend more than a minute per question so you will have more time for CR/RC.
I found it was quiet difficult to cut it down to 1 min especially on lengthy ones.
When you start reading the the answer choices, do you generally just read the first couple words and last couple words vertically and decided from there?
When reading the sentence, do you just quickly skim it once to get a big picture on meaning/spot key words, error, and then read it again throughly?
Thanks!!

Hey,

The 90% accuracy is actually a good thing. Keep it up!
Regarding the timing issue, it is not necessary to complete all the SC questions in 1 minute, obviously we cannot complete the lengthy and the difficult questions in 1 min. I think 1:30 would be a safe target.

Regarding the method to solve the SC, try to break the sentences in 3:2 or 2:2:1 splits as told in the first chapter of MGMAT SC. this way you can straightaway eliminate 2 or 3 choices based on the split and then focus ahead on finding other problems with the rules.

The splitting method can actually save you some precious time. try it and let me know

Regards,
Ankur
