Dear All,
I recently gave my third attempt of GMAT and scored
700 (Q-50, V-34, IR-8, AWA-5 ). As I was scoring around 730 in the official practice tests, I am planning to retake GMAT by mid-November to reach my target score of 730+.
Need your suggestions in deciding what material to use and how to best utilize the next two months for a higher score.
Verbal:After my first GMAT attempt in October last year, I realized verbal is my weaker section. Hence, I joined
eGMAT's Verbal Live course in mid-may, same time when I re-started my preparation.
Material used:Official Guide 2016,
Verbal Review - 2,
eGMAT Video Course,
eGMAT Scholaranium
Official Question pack.
I scored between 34 and 40 in all the official practice tests (with the average of 37). Thanks to
eGMAT, I don't think I have any conceptual gaps in Verbal. Though not sure how good I am in application of concepts.
I struggle a lot with timing. (Just had 13 mins left for last 10 Qs).
I also don't feel very confident while doing Verbal. Pressure of getting initial questions right get on my nerves and I am very bad in handling that pressure.
In practice tests on a good day I was scoring 39/40. Need to make sure that this score becomes a habit. Kindly suggest what steps I should take.
Also, what should I do to take care of timing and speed?
As I have already taken
eGMAT's course, should I subscribe to any other online course or should I try and extract more from the current course?
Which extra material will be good to take my preparation to next level?
Quant:I have been above average in Quant. Actual GMAT scores - 50/49/50. On my second attempt I didn't devote sufficient time to Quant and paid for it with a 49. For third attempt I did sufficient practice and managed to score 50.

Solved around 12 GMAT Club practice test between my 2nd & 3rd attempt
Had solved 5 Veritas Quant sectional tests before my 2nd attempt and scored 51 in most of them.
For my next attempt, I am targeting a score of 51. I need to make sure that I don't slip below 50 in any case. Kindly suggest what steps I should take.

Biggest weakness - Inequalities, Must be/could be true and Absolute Function .[/b]
Efficiency becomes low on 700 level questions in PnC and algebra.
As most of my preparation time was devoted towards Verbal, I have never been able to take corrective actions to improve my weaknesses in Quant.
How and what should I do to iron out these gaps? Somehow, even going through theory of GMAT Club math book has not helped. Almost in all questions of weak areas, I am unsure of how to solve.
Practice Tests:
I have only solved 6 official practice tests. Have solved 4 of these tests twice.
Kindly suggest which test series is closest to actual GMAT. I am looking to solve practice tests which are tough in Verbal to be better prepared for actual exam.
Also, I have exhausted most of the official questions.
Kindly suggest source of some good practice questions which are closes to actual exam. Will be grateful if anyone can help me with suggestions. Thanks!
