Hello,
I am seeking opinions and any related advice about how adcoms will evaluate my GMAT scores. Those scores are as follows:
12/5/15
AWA - 4.5
IR - 7
Q - 39
V - 38
630 - 70th
05/21/16
AWA - 5
IR - 7
Q - 49
V - 39
710 - 91st
06/27/16
AWA (TBD)
IR - 5
Q - 47
V - 42
720 - 94th
I have been told by many individuals that the jump from 630 to 710 suggest numerous positives. But I am not sure how the 710 and 720 tests will be viewed by adcoms. The first issue is the lower IR score, from a 7 scored twice, down to a 5. Oddly enough during the last test, I felt like my IR performance was the best of them all.
The next issue is the trade-offs between quant and verbal. It is great that I improved a little bit on the total score, but what might adcoms think when they see this? What might it suggest to them?

Congratulations on your higher scores. Go ahead and use the 720 score, the more balanced score and be happy about it. The IR is not considered yet, so you are still good.
