I am very disappointed with my last verbal result on the GMAT club test!
In fact, I have taken the two GMAT-free tests before, and my verbal result was 25 in both of them. However, I have recently worked more on my verbal skills by solving many hard questions, studying the correct questions and in-correct questions, and reading many books. After solving more than 3,000 questions for all sections CR, SC, and RC, I have really felt that I mastered the verbal section. However, Today I took a verbal GMAT club test for the first time after three months of hard study for the verbal section, my score was 19! I am very sad about my score, I don't understand how after studying more, and understanding more than before, got a lower score!

Hi haithamnimer, First, I would like to make you aware of is that the original GMAT will be more difficult than official mocks for sure. I got a 650 even after scoring 750 in OG mocks. Also, a V42 is an excellent score but a Q 48 is average. So verbal is an area you have to do well in if you are targetting 700+.
Don't want to scare you but yes verbal is the game you have to play. Also, the majority of your verbal section depends on your ability to comprehend and understand the meaning. All of CR, RC, and almost all of the toughest SC questions test this. So what I would advise is more than solving questions, spend time with official questions and even if you got the answer right, understand all the errors. I agree that the explanations given in OG are not great, but you can always leverage the GMAT club to understand the reasons behind the answer. Also if you are a nonnative speaker, Try to spend some time reading quality reading materials and develop a mindset. You can search for some reading recommendations in the club as well. All the very best for your exam.

Hello Sharma,
You have got 750 in the official GMAT practice exam 3,4,5, and 6? If yes, then the official GMAT is harder than practice exam tests? So, why there are many students are saying that the practice exam test is a real indicator of your score?
