I'm hoping for a score as near 800 (I've taken 3 Kaplan practice exams and earned 660,720,740) as possible and Sentence correction is my weakest section.
I tried watching
magoosh's videos on the topic (I have a
magoosh account) and tried reading the sentence correction portions of "foundations of Verbal" from
manhattan prep and tried reading the sentence correction grammar review chapter in Kaplan' prep plus.
Ultimately, I can do ok on SC questions "using my ear" but from what I am told, for a top score I need to have a good ear and an ability to know the rules.
I have trouble identifying the parts of speech in a sentence. I can tell a noun from a verb and identify the basics, but sometimes I can't tell if something is an adverb or a preposition for example.
Any advice?
