there were rumors that she actually got accepted at Stanford, but it makes no sense whatsoever.
As for being insulting to Cal, that's how the shirts sold at both schools are like. It's a friendly rivalry (well, sometimes not so friendly between the freshmen class
). There are t-shirts like "Cal Sucks" or "F*** Stanford" sold at the respective schools all the time. I actually thought this shirt was quite clever before I knew the whole back story.

really? i have the opposite view. the back story is what makes it funny. maybe this is more widespread in cali than i thought. im an east coaster here.
