I always practise untimed mode - to reach the maximium potential. Unless I am doing a CAT - where I don't spend too much time debating or overanalyzing. It has improved my score. I suggest doing the RC untimed until you get every one of them correct the first time. Then you can do a timed one - accuracy cannot be sacrificed for speed. :)
