I have an Indian MBA (class of 2017) but no work experience. I moved to the US and cannot work cause I'm on dependent VISA (F2). I am planning to write GMAT by April and I need help on which program to choose on test day.
I saw a thread where few mentioned to choose HBS 2+2, Yale Silver Scholars, Stanford Deferred, Kellogg MMM, IESE YTP
I have no idea which program to choose since I already have an Indian MBA. Someone, please give your advice.

We see this question quite often on forums. Some schools accept candidates with prior MBA degree but you need to have strong justification for why current MBA degree is not sufficient for fulfilling your career aspirations. Check out this thread to see which schools accept candidates with prior MBA degree.. https://gmatclub.com/forum/second-mba-c ... 29912.html
Thank you so much

Hi bj94,

also be aware of the deadlines. For example, for HBS 2+2 the deadline is April 10th, 2018. Make sure you take the GMAT and apply before then.

Additionally, be aware that some of these programs require that you graduated between October 1, 2017 and September 30, 2018.

I hope this helps.

Best,
Alex
Thank you for the information, I might be applying next year.

I'd be careful about this-- some of the info on the school link was from a few years ago-- and schools may have changed their thinking on this.
The best way to be sure you can apply for a program is to ask-- the differed admit program is not really targeted for people with a prior MBA-- but the only way to be sure in your unique case is to ask the schools directly. If you do want some help with applications-- and given your situation there may be some strategies on how to best approach... reach out to us for a free consult: https://stratusadmissionscounseling.com ... b-visitor/ And I would also encourage working with your placement center from your MBA to get some ideas on work experience-- even unpaid just to network and build skills while you are here and waiting on MBA options.
