Hi all,
I am so bored with my result, i just made the exam and I only got a 540. Is a very disappointed result after several months of study.
I got a 39 in quantitative and only 25 in Verbal. I receive any kind of tips for my next try, i think that will be maybe in 3 or 4 months. Thanks all.
By the way, I studied with Kaplan material, not even quite similar to the real test. I used to get between 650 and 700 in the CATs.

Good thing is u have enough rooms in both Q and v to improve.
Ur practice test results,if u took them under real condition, are much higher, it is good indicator that u have potential to hit 7XX barrier.
I recommend u to read some success stories/tips in this forum and acquaint urself with some good strategies for preparation.
Also ur material is limited. OG 10/11/Quantitative/Verbal, Manhattan ( Maths and SC), Kaplan 800, Powerscore CR bible, Challenges (25 math tests), GmatPrep CATs , Old retired paper tests and Sets are highly recommended.
Plz keep in mind ( this quotes are not mine):
1) sometimes a success/luck is closer to u than u think: give one more shot.
2) Not Quantity but quality is important- u don't have to cover all the materials in order to success.
3) Know whether u r ready to take the test:(endurance, knowledge,and health).

kaplan CAT's perfect score for either V or Q score is 61 (not 51 like other CATs)
In reality, GMAt full score is 61 as well but there are experimental questions so those questions aren't counted. therefore, really the perfect score is 51.
Because of this, your 650-700 range during Kaplan tests are really equivalent to 550-600.
You should use GmatPrep or MGMAT CAT exams for better results.
