Hi all, I have the following doubt in the usage of the word 'each'
Each of the boys has his own unique flaws. --------> Correct
Each of us has our own unique flaws. ------------> Sounds crorrect
But why can't we write it in the following way:
Each of us has my own unique flaws. ---------------> Is this usage correct/wrong? It would be great if you can explain the reason behind your answer.
Thanks!

hi, Each of us has our own unique flaws. .. this is correct.. but "Each of us has my own unique flaws." is not correct .. two reasons 1) you are comparing us with 'my' so pronoun error.. 2) secondly the meaning is illogical.. on one hand the flaws are unique and on other you say that everyone has the same flaws as you so it cannot be unique to you alone..
if you are wanting to say that everyone has flaws that you have .. it should be.. Each of us has flaws, which I have... or Each of us has flaws, which were unique to me.
