Hi, Based on what I heard from a Spanish friend of mine, IE seems to have an edge over ESADE in terms of the university networking as well as the students' networking. This is a personal opinion of mine, but I kinda feel that IE does have a slight edge over ESADE in terms of reputation, but not necessarily quality of education, in Spain or South American countries. In addition, MBB generally do require a fluent local language skill as well. Hope this helps. Sent from my SM-G935F using GMAT Club Forum mobile app

Why do you think Spanish language skills are required?

Posted from my mobile device From what I know, MBB generally obtain projects from local organizations such as government, conglomerates, and mncs within the country. Naturally, if you want to make the clients to be as comfortable as possible you would like to speak their native language; furthermore, Spanish in general has poor command in English. Im in Netherlands now, and the MBB require fluent Dutch although Dutch people in general speak excellent English, of course I heard of some exceptions, but those exceptions are pretty rare.
