Hello 
I am applying for IE Business School MIM for fall 2026. I just wanted to know about the online assessment video, which comes after submitting the application

Hello Sunandjhanwar,

I have appeared for the same assessment during my application process, it is nothing serious and purely impromptu, it would be an automated video assessment, you would be asked 2 small questions , will be give 30 seconds each to prepare and then 30 seconds to answer each while recording yourself, at last there will be a third question to which you have to answer in a paragraph , you will be given 5 minutes to type(type and answer as much as you can in 5 minutes). Timer will be always on the screen for you reference. As far as questions as concerned they can be anything - social responsibility vs bottom line, Ai, etc etc always some general topic.I don't believe you need to prepare much as you just have to speak for 30 seconds( use the STAR methodology to answer the problem)

I actually appeared for IE International MBA interview and not MiM, questions of MiM interview might be slightly different than a MBA interview, but they remain same in broader sense.
My interview was around 35 minutes long conducted by a member of admission committee, it was very chill and conversational in nature. There will be questions like- tell me about yourself questions, motivations to apply to this program, why IE, what are your future goals and how will this degree help you achieve them, questions from your resume and essays that you have submitted so be prepared to answer those, how your values align to those of IE, how are you going to manage your finances for the tuition fees, how will you give back to the society etc etc

IE interview style is conversational , they won't grill you , but they would expect to have clarity of thoughts and communication from you.
