Hi all,
I recently got admitted at HEC (no scholarship) and IESE (with ~25% scholarship) both. I am now considering accepting one of the admits and shoot for INSEAD's Jan intake in March deadline. I need recommendation in 2 things:
1. HEC vs IESE: My post MBA goal is to join a consulting firm in middle east. I understand IESE has a good case method curriculum but I am a bit skeptical about its brand name. I am from one of the IITs and none of my college alums went to this school. One the contrary I have decent contact in HEC Paris both in MiM and MBA programs. Having said that, I have heard only positive reviews for IESE but is it worth it over HEC?
2. If I accept the offer at HEC or IESE, I have to give a deposit of 10,000 Euros. I want to shoot for INSEAD in Jan intake or LBS in 2nd round as they are tops schools in Europe and strong feeder into consulting plus have an amazing brand name too. But are they worth leaving 10,000 euros and how much significantly are they better than HEC and IESE in middle east? And do I even have a chance of getting in these schools? My profile: Indian Female, GMAT FE:675, 4.2 years work ex at american express, undergrad from IITK with 7.4 GPA.
Would appreciate any suggestions/recommendations for both the points.
