Hi. I got an admit from IESE Business School (with 30k scholarship) and HEC Paris (, no scholarship). In addition, I have also paid the initial commitment fee of 10k at IESE. I am currently working as a software engineer at Goldman Sachs. Post MBA, I intend to move into consulting, preferrably MBBs. I intend to work in Europe for 2-3 years and eventually, move back to India.
Which school will be a better option for me?

shreyadhatwalia hope this finds you well.
Congratulations on your admits! I understand that this may be a challenging decision, particularly when factoring in financial considerations. Based on feedback from my prior applicants (and admits), it appears that neither school has a super strong affiliation with MBBs.
IESE has slightly better opportunities in MBB consulting than HEC does. Nonetheless, there will still be chances to network and recruit with these firms or other top consulting companies. At HEC, it may require additional effort on your part to seek out leads and establish advocates who can help you navigate the MBB recruitment process.
In my opinion, considering the recent ranking upgrade and the scholarship you have received, IESE is currently positioned strong. I wish you all the best in making your decision.
