Congrats on the offer from IESE. Just curious.. which all other schools did you apply in Europe?

@Sid_b93 On the surface, it seems like you have a solid profile, although I still lack information about your 4 years of entrepreneurship experience. Judging from the IESE admit, I'm sure your reflections on your entrepreneurship stint were impressive. However, the GMAT score is not your strong suit for schools like LBS or INSEAD. I believe you would excel at IESE, and you'll likely be able to return to consulting post-MBA.

For schools like LBS and INSEAD, it could be a hit or miss primarily because your GMAT score is average.

Hey folks, hope all's well.

I've been admitted to IESE and have applied to HEC. I'd love to get some guidance if I should await HEC's decision/ apply to INSEAD (or any other schools) or go ahead with IESE if my post MBA goals are to get into consulting/ entrepreneurship, preferably in the Middle East. Applied to a few M7 schools in R2 but didn't get through. As far as the school fit goes, I'm happy with the warm and welcoming culture of IESE's community.

Should I apply to further schools if IESE's outcomes are comparable to other schools'?

Appreciate any insights. Thanks!

@Sid_b93 - congrats on IESE! Both IESE and HEC are good for consulting careers, with IESE arguably a bit stronger in the Middle-East. For your entrepreneurship plans, I'd say HEC's network is stronger due to the global and broader (MiM/ Masters) alum base. You wouldn't go wrong either way, maybe wait it out until the HEC admit/ scholarships and decide.

Make sure to speak to alum & Adcom in both schools particularly if/ after you have both admits, to understand how the school's ecosystem will help achieve your goals: this will help you uncover deeper insights and preferences.
