So, we have a=c and b=c ; therefore a =b
100,000 microns = 1,000,000,000 angstroms
Therefore, 1 micron = 10,000 angstroms. (Cancel out 5 zeros from both sides). Option D.

Given that 100,000 microns = 1 decimeter
So, 1 micron = (1 * 1)/100,000
= 1/100,000 decimeter

Also, 1 decimeter = 1,000,000,000 angstorm
So, 1/100,000 decimeter = [(1/100,000) * 1,000,000,000]/1
= 10,000

Hence option (D).

In Our School days we use to solve wavelength questions through (for physics lover)

1A--10^(-10)m
1 micron ----106(-6)m
so if we divide one by another we will get 1 micron ----10^4 angstrom

100,000 microns = 1 dec
1,000,000,000 angstroms = 1 dec

stripe of 5 0's in micron/dec line
stripe of 5 0's in the angstrom/dec line

You are left with 4 0's = 10,000

Converting the given information in exponent form & re-writing

\(10^5 microns = 10^9 angstroms\)

1 micron \(= 10^{9-5} = 10000\) angstroms
