3x/3+x=2
x= 6 option E

3x/ (x+3) = 2

3x= 2x +6
x=6

First, let’s multiply both sides of the equation by (1 + 3/x), and then we can easily solve for x:

3 = 2 + 6/x

1 = 6/x

x = 6
