How is statement 1 possible at all? Even though by calculating we get A=S=0, but how is this possible logically?

Poor Quality question

Statement 1 contradicts the fact given in question stem, unless you consider than both Aisha's and Suki's age in present is 0. But if their age is 0, how are they even named as Aisha and Suki yet?

If Aisha’s age is exactly a third of Suki’s, what is Aisha’s age?

(1) In 15 years, Aisha will be as old as Suki.
(2) 5 years ago, Suki was 4 times older than Aisha.
The question has a problem. When the answer to a DS question is D, the two statements should both lead to the same answer. That is not the case here.
