Hi, can anyone pls guide If I reinstate the test score, which was 640(if I remember correctly), will it affect my application to schools(would the schools consider it a factor), considering I would write a fresh exam and thus have two scores updated in my GMAC account.

I don't think it'll affect. In fact, it may help you. It'll show your perseverance. :)

It doesn't typically have a big negative impact. Schools always consider your highest score and I agree that multiple attempts can show perseverance. But there is some limit on that, and having more than 3 attempts can sometimes look questionable to schools. Hope that helps!

It does not really matter for 2-3 scores. Multiple scores are not an issue. Answers you got are correct.
