The correct answer is E

Jose solves 2 problems every 5 mins. So, how many minutes will he take to solve N problems?

He will take: 5N/2 minutes
Converting it into seconds, 5*60*N/2 = 150N

Jose's rate: 2 problems in 5 minutes

Time per problem: 5 minutes / 2 problems = 2.5 minutes per problem

Total time for N problems: 2.5 minutes / problem x N problems = 2.5N minutes

Total time in seconds: 2.5N x 60 = 150N

So, Answer E

Josè does 2 problems in 5 minutes, so he does 1 problem in 2.5 minutes.

2.5 minutes equals to 150 seconds.

The total number of seconds to solve N problems will be N*150 = Answer E.
