\(\angle{x}\) is on \(l_s\) and \(\angle{y}\) is on \(l_p\)...
So if \(l_p||l_s\), yes, otherwise NO
(1) \(p||r\) and \(r||t\)
(2) \(q||s\)

As there is no parameter to judge whether p||q or p||r
Both of the statements given are mutually exclusive which could result to any value of X and Y.
So E. No possible solution
