Statement 1 - If you multiply a +ve integer by 10 the tens digit of the original number will move to hundreds digit.
So hundreds digit of 10n is same as tens digit of n here and statement 1 alone is sufficient

Statement 2 - If tens digit of n+1 is 7 tens digit of n can be 7 or 6 depending on the unit's digit of n+1 . If units digit of n+1 is zero then tens digit of n will be 6 . For all other values(1,2,3,....9) it will be 7.So statement 2 alone is not sufficient.

Answer A.
