I’d say C follows the line of reasoning the closest of all the options
the general reasoning of this question is that in order for A (dog) to be B (a collie), C (shedding in the spring) must happen. Since C (dog shed in the spring) happened, A (dog) must be B (collie).
A) only two actions, A (winter) and B (snowing), B happened, therefore A
B) only two options, but in this case A (wind) is happening, so B (cold front) is coming
C) in order for A (red paperweight) to be B (Crystal), C must happen (careful dusting). C didn’t happen, therefore A is not B
D) A (hard frost) will cause B (tomatoes to die). However B has not happened, therefore A did not happen
E) this one could be tricky. In order for B (be a good drummer) you must be A (coordinated like Franklin). However Franklin is C (can’t read music). There’s a new, unrelated clause introduced in this case that has nothing to do with A.
Appreciate the Kudos if this helped!
