A.$x/12y
B. $12x/y C.$12xy
D. $12y/x E.$xy/12

monthly salary per person is $y annual salaries is$x
total person n

therefore we have 12*y*n = x
n = x/(12y)

MathRevolution: can you please confirm the OA ? I guess it should be A instead of B.

Hence option A is correct

Since it is $x, from$12ny=$x, you get n=x/12y. The answer is A. Here given that

x = n * 12y

As x is sum of annual salary and y is the monthly salary
n is the no of person

Hence n = x / 12y

Ans A

Hope this helps
Peace
