whether y>2x

Statement 1-

x+2x+3x>y
6x>y

Case 1

x=1 and y= 1..... y<2x

Case 2

x=1 and y =3..... y>2x

Insufficient

Statement 2-

x*2x<y

As x≥1, y>2x

Sufficient
