St1: x and y are positive --> x and y are different integers and are positive. So |x| and |y| can't be the same integers.
Sufficient.
St2: x = y+2
y = -1; x = 1 --> |x| = |y|
y = 0; x = 2 --> \(|x| \neq {|y|}\)
Not Sufficient.
Answer: A
