If x and y are two different integers, is |x|=|y|?

(1) x and y are positive numbers.
(2) x=y+2

St1: Sufficient. If they are two different integers and they are positive their absolute values cannot be equal. The answer is NO.
St2: Sufficient. Absolute values are not equal as well.

If x and y are two different integers, is |x|=|y|?

(1) x and y are positive numbers.
(2) x=y+2

Self made

Explanation

Given x and y are different integers
So when will |x|=|y|......
••••• x and y have same numeric value but different sign

Let's see the statements..

1) x and y are positive..
this means x and y are not of opposite sign, so x is not equal to y..
Sufficient

2) x=y+2..
TRICKY..... Easy to believe both x and y cannot have same numeric value..
But if x =-1, y=-1+2=1..... So |x|=|y|...
But x=1 and y =3.. and No

Insufficient
