The answer is D.
1) this is not true for x=1 (2=1) or x=2 (4=2), for which the left side is greater. it is true for x=3 (6=6). for x=4 (8=24) the right side is greater, and we can easily see that as we progress, the right side will increase even more in relation to the left side. In other words, there is no way there will be another value that works - only x=3. sufficient!
2) x(x-3)=0 ==> x=0, x=3 - but since we know x is a positive integer, only x=3 works. Sufficient!

x!= x * (x-1)

from 1
2x= x( x-1)
or x = 3 sufficient

From 2
we get x ( x-3)=0
x=0 and 3
since x is a +ve integer so x=3 is sufficient IMO D
