I think this is pretty simple.

If x, y, and z are positive numbers, is x < y < z ?

(1) xy < yz
(2) xz < yz

S1: x<z (as all the +ve numbers) Not Suff
S2: x<y (all +ve) Not Suff

Both: x<y,x<z but no relation b/w y and z.

Hence E
