I encountered this question on the GMAT Prep Mock Test.
Could someone kindly suggest what is the most appropriate and efficient way of going about solving such a question?
Do we need to necessarily follow the trial and error approach ? Or are there a particular range of values that we could probably consider to shave off some crucial time in arriving at the correct answer?
