We need to write y in terms of z, and we know that
y = 8x+12 and x = z+2
Substituting value of x i.e. x = z + 2 in equation of y we get
y = 8 *(z+2) + 12
=> y = 8z + 16 + 12 = 8z + 28
So, Answer will be E
