As I prepare to submit my MBA applications, I want to share some insights that you might find useful. Like all of you, I also wanted to put forth the best application possible and tried to figure out who could be the best consultant to help me ? I come from India and with my set of responsibilities, I cannot afford to hire any of the top international consultants.
Nevertheless, I wanted to test the waters and scheduled a free 30 minute consultation with mbaMission. That very conversation made it evident to me what a world class MBA could do to your mindset. mbaMission, for 30 straight minutes gave me solid advice on strengthening my application and selecting my schools. No beating about the bush, no cross selling, completely aware of your unique situation and zero bluff. The amount of value they deliver in those 30 minutes will make you want spend money to hire them.
Unfortunately, I dint have that much money. What I did instead is that I bought this book : Complete Start-to-Finish MBA Admissions Guide, Jeremy Shinewald. Direct from mbaMission, this book was certainly not written for me alone and does not address my unique situation. But if you are like me and want a piece of mind blowing admissions advice, this is a must buy. You will get the best piece of advice for selecting schools, writing essays, LORs, personal statements, interview advice and even some advice for re-applicants. The advice is generalized, but the best piece of guidance I have ever come across. Ever.
