It is true that I can pursue my MBA in the US. However, I grew up here. I want more global exposure. I want to learn about my roots and culuture. I want to learn from the Indian Business Schools to gain more exposure as my bachelors was BSBA.
I am not an American Citizen as I was born in India. However, I am a permanent resident in the US.
How does my profile look? Anyone had similar background who grew up in the US and went back to India to pursue MBA or higher education? How can I make my profile stronger? What about my GMAT score? Any strategies? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
I was looking at the IIM A Overseas Website and was not sure how to calculate the Rating Scores for 10th and 12th grades.
Any help would mean a lot.
pandsAlternatively, you may explore the YLP route(early entry) for ISB which is a great alternative to IIM A and is currently the top ranked 1 year PGP/MBA program in India (not sure if you have specific preference for a longer immersive program such as the IIM A PGDM). The next deadline is March 31st, 2024. Alternatively, you can apply to the ISB PGP when you complete exactly 2 years of work expereince.
Overall you have a great profile, and in my opinion a really strong motivation to study in India. Focus on getting a decent GMAT score, know your current baseline from mock exams and create an end goal strategy. In addition, continue to research your goals as that could be an area of concern since you have not lived and worked in India. Happy to advise should you need professional guidance.
