Hello everyone!!
Hope u all are having a great day!!
The first thing everyone tells you to is choose a Business school of your preference and set your target accordingly. My question is how much of a role do the countries play in the selection of university?
For instance US vs CANADA
do we take into account the ease of visa applications, current job market, future scopes etc..?

Dont't think abut Visa or Jobs while choosing an MBA abroad, as the current immigration scenarios in western world is very volatile. Look at the knowledge you could gain. There is no reason for US employers to go through Visa hassles than hiring Local. No reason for them to go through Job Market test to hire someone on H1B. Even with a VIsa, it is only luck to get selected in the lottery.
This is pretty mislead. If all you were getting was knowledge, you could just buy the same books/case studies that the MBA programs go through and say - Voila! I have read them. I got an MBA..... well not the same. The way I see it so far is there are more H1B applications than spots available and with the unemployment as low as it is, your statements are a generalization based on a case study of 1.
There is no doubt a large number of employers do no not want to hire international applicants. You just have to admit that and live with that. However, somehow there are 65-85K applications each year and a number of people don't get it.... so somehow there are all those spots.
