Technology will or playing a major role in the development of any nation. Technology in education is needed to keep up with what’s changing (and what isn’t), observers must know where to look.
There’s the booming ed-tech industry, with corporate titans and small startups and in many schools are moving to provide students with their own laptop computer, netbook, or digital tablet.

To put simply, it doesn’t matter what type of education you’re in, there are countless technologies that can assist by:
- Presenting the material and make it more fun and engaging;
- Make homework more fun;
- Make it possible to track the progress of homework or the overall progress in a course;
- Make questionnaires and tests easier accessible and make it easier to check the results (so as a teacher, you don’t have to spend a few nights a month checking papers);
- Providing different course material based on the needs of the students. For example, automatically give smart students additional and more challenging assignments;
- And there is more of course … ;)

Anyway, at HiHaHo we have developed an interactive video tool that helps with all these things (when incorporated into an LMS), or a few of these if you use it individually. Kaltura recently released a report that showed that more than 99% of institutions in America frequently use videos in their classes.

It is impossible to think of any sector which works independent of technology. Starting from retail to manufacturing. Technology plays a role in various stages of the process.

Hence, if one of the motifs of education is to prepare the learners for their profession, knowledge of technology is a must. Although technological knowledge in the form of computer science subject had made its way to India school curriculum a decade back, the practical aspect of the theory was never really explained in school. This kind of half-hearted does no good.

The school education should prompt the student to stay updated with the latest technological trends so that their knowledge is relevant to their profession.
