Hi Neeraj91,

First off, a 710/Q46 is an outstanding score (it's right around the 90th percentile overall), so you can apply to any Business Schools that interest you. As such, a retest might not be necessary. You're ultimately asking Admissions questions though, so you would likely find it beneficial to speak with an Admissions Expert about your overall profile. There's a Forum full of them here:

1) What Schools are you planning to apply to?
2) When are you planning to apply?

Hi Empower, thanks for the kind words. There were a few factors that made me decide to retake the test. One of them being my profile; Asians tend to fare pretty well on the GMAT and being an Indian, I felt I could do with a bump in score to reach the average score my demographic tends to score. Another being lesser pressure the second time round. In case I do not manage to score higher this time, I'll cancel my score and go with my 710. This alleviates some of the pressure I think, so I thought I''d give it a shot.

In case i do not do better, I will immediately put the GMAT behind and begin preparing for round 2 applications. Thanks for the link :)

Hi Neeraj91,

Your verbal score is very high! Then, all you need to focus on is quant until your exam.
Please note that mock tests scores tend to be higher than actual GMAT score and we don't recommend solely relying on mock test scores.

Since our reply is a bit late, by the time you read the reply you probably have 2 weeks left and we are not sure if we could give you suitable solutions.
If you still have like a month to study till the exam, you can surely improve your score.

We think you can surely improve with studying Variable approach for DS in a short period of time. Since your current official score is 46(your test score), that means your basic math skills are good. Then, you will easily learn our unique approaches to boost your score. You can still cover PS with your own math skills though you can surely solve all DS questions 100% with the world's first Variable approach and have 10 minutes to spare.

You can go to our website and check if you like our method and try Trial Pack (4 hour lesson) that reveal our secret approaches of DS+PS core theory that you have never seen.

Additionally, below are two useful articles featured in GMAT Club for your reference. This will be helpful for you. You can see what sort of questions you might encounter on actual GMAT.
