What is the question source?

It is a multi-layered question. I believe it is much harder than a GMAT one.

This question can be solved very logically and without formulas within a minute.
25 people smoke. To maximize only 1 -
(i) 20 ppl smoke cigar,
(ii) Remaining 5 smoke hukkah, 10 from above smoke hukkah - to bring no to 15
(iii) 11 smoke cigarette - out of the 10 smoking hukkah in (ii) and 1 from lot of 5 ppl smoking hukkah
From above, 10 ppl only smoke cigar, 4 of the 15 smoke only hukkah from (ii).

In a group of 50 people, at least 20 smoke cigar, at least 15 smoke hookah and at least 11 smoke cigarette.

If 25 of the people in the group do not smoke, then at most how many smoke exactly one of cigar, hookah and cigarette?

Let 11 people smoke all 3 and none 2 of them.

Number of people who smoke cigar >= 20 = 11 + 9
Number of people who smoke hookah >= 15 = 11 + 4
Number of people who smoke cigarette >= 11 = 11 + 0

Since 25 people smoke i.e.
Number of people who smoke cigar + Number of people who smoke hookah + Number of people who smoke cigarette = 25
>=11+9+4 = 24

The number of people who smoke exactly one of cigar, hookah and cigarette = 25-11 = 14
