Here are the photos both from Kellogg and INSEAD:

Kellogg: https://www.johngomes.net//Photography/Kellogg/DAK/

INSEAD: https://www.johngomes.net//Photography/E ... 07/INSEAD/

Love the town of Fontainebleau.

Cheers,
John

Looking at DAK makes me cry. I walked and worked those halls for four years.... For the record, INSEAD wins on the campus look hands down... fricking fontainebleau chateau

i thought INSEAD looked pretty shabby.....the real state of the art campus is where you are heading to rhyme...

Definitely, INSEAD campus is not as contemporary as the new Chicago GSB, but the archaic nature of the Fonty campus along with the quaint nature of the Fontainebleau town makes INSEAD quite unique and attractive. La forêt de Fontainebleau also provides excellent opportunities for biking and boldering!

Saying that, Evanston is a hip township and is equally attactive! I like the fact that it is right next to the lake and easily accessible from Chicago.

Congratulations to both of you. sm176811, do inform us whenever you decide between Kellogg and INSEAD. It would be interesting to read your reasoning on the same.

Not only did I do econs there, but I worked at Kellogg while an undergraduate. I know many of the professors - some on a first name basis even. You say "G35" and I can actually tell you where it is. I was there when they first put in they replaced the paned glass with the Kellogg symbol (its nice). It's my old home. To put it another way - I've spent more time at Kellogg than a Kellogg MBA student has.

Evanston is not so hip :) I lived there for four years. It's changed a lot and its a nicer place now than it was then, but it is most definetly NOT a party town.

I'm really happy for you man. Seven dings and a waitlist must have been a tough ride. CONGRATS.

Thanks rhyme...I basically wrote really bad essays on 5 schools before realizing that I need to put in a significant amount of work on them. And im surely happy with the result although the dings were tough to swallow.

sm, mst and gmatmba, congrats for all of you. INSEAD is a great school.

sm: tough decision, anyway you can't go wrong with either, I think the decision is more where geographically you want to go afterwards.

gmat: it doesn't matter now the dings, in "your personal ranking system" INSEAD is the #1 school, right? :).
