Hi everyone, please what is the difference between the two sentences below:

(i) In laws of motion, there is a condition and its converse regarding bodies at
rest and bodies in motion.

(ii) In laws of motion, there are a condition and its
converse regarding bodies at rest and bodies in motion.

because "and" always leads to plural form.
